Dr. Robin-Hanna received her medical degree from Ein Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Cabrini Medical Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City where she also completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Robin-Hanna is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology.

Dermatologist

Dr. Roundtree graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Norman in 1978. He works in Lawton, OK and specializes in Dermatology. Before joining our facility, Dr. Roundtree maintained a private practice in Lawton for 37 years. Dr. Roundtree will be available in all three locations and his practice is limited to adult patients with skin lesions, moles, keratoses and suspected or confirmed skin cancers.

Douglas O. Brady Ph.D.

Board Certified Medical Psychologist / Licensed Health Service Psychologist

Dr. Brady provides Medical Psychology services to patient’s of the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is licensed in Oklahoma and Texas. He completed his internship and residency with Oklahoma State Health Department and with the Texas Department of Mental Health and Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences.

He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Professional Neuropsychology. He is a Life Fellow of the American Psychology Association. He has practiced Psychology in Lawton since 1982. He is a published author in Professional Journals and is Co-editor of an American Bar Association reference in Psychological Injuries. He is a VA and DoD Disability Examiner and provides disability exams to CCSWOK patients who are veterans.

His research interests are in cognitive and affective disorders in Oncology and Hematology Patients. He is married to Sharon Smith Brady, Ph. D., a licensed Psychologist. They have two children, Keven and Laura Brady.

Dr. Nimeh has provided exceptional care to cancer patients in Southwest Oklahoma for over 25 years. He received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Michigan State University, and completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at The Simpson Memorial Institute, The University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Nimeh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Nimeh is currently serving as liaison to the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma.

Dr. Ziegler received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, completed an intership/residency in Radiation Oncology at New York University Bellevue Medical Center in New York, and completed fellowships in Radiation Medicine and Radiation Oncology. Dr. Ziegler is board certified by the American
Board of Radiology.

Narender Gorukanti M.D.

On August 1, 2017, the Cancer Centers of

Southwest Oklahoma and Comanche County Memorial

Hospital welcomed Dr. Narender Gorukanti as our newest Medical Oncologist/Hematologist. Dr. Gorukanti is certified through the American Board of Medical Oncology.

Dr. Gorukanti attended medical school at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, AP, India.  His Internal Medicine Residency (1990-1993) was completed at the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. His Hematology/Oncology Fellowship (1993-1996) was completed at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

He has more than 20 years of experience in private practice to include Affiliated Medical Centers in Willmar, MN, East Central Oncology in Midland, MI and most recently Cooper Clinic in Fort Smith, AR.

He and his wife Jayasree have two children. Their daughter, Anuradha, recently graduated from Medical School and is doing her Pediatrics Residency in California. Their son, Srecharan is in his second year of medical school at St. Louis University. In his free time, Dr. Gorukanti enjoys bird watching and traveling.

Michael Kerley, MD, FACRO

Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Kerley was born in Sentinel, Oklahoma and raised in Cordell, he has returned home to Southwest Oklahoma after having a very successful career in Texas spanning over 30 years.

Dr. Kerley received his bachelors degree in Biology (Molecular) and Ethics (Philosophy and Religious Studies) at Rice University in Houston, Texas where he was a National Merit Scholar. He then trained and taught at Baylor College of Medicine with residencies in Internal Medicine and Radiation Oncology, including chief residencies in both as well as a fellowship in Medical Oncology. He is board certified in all three specialties. He also has received additional training in Targeted External Beam Radiation and Brachytherapy Radiation Therapy. During his career, Dr. Kerley has served as a Chancellor and President of the American College of Radiation Oncology. He is an active member of the American College of Radiation Oncology, ASTRO, American Brachytherapy Society, and ASCO.

The Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma would like to welcome Dr. Than Than Aye as one of our newest Medical Oncologist/Hematologist. Dr. Aye will spend four days a week in Lawton and one day in Duncan. Dr. Aye speaks English, Mandarin and Burmese.

As she grew up in an underdeveloped country, her ambition to be a doctor and help people was always cultivated from her childhood. She has a passion to serve people who need her help and can benefit from her medical expertise. Dr. Aye was born in Myanmar and attended medical school at the Institute of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar, graduating in 2004. Her Internal Medicine Residency was completed in 2012 at the Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and her Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship was completed in June of 2015 from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

She and her husband San Win will reside in Lawton and are very excited about becoming a part of the Southwest Oklahoma community.

Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Smith grew up in Southern California but moved to Oklahoma with her family after graduating high school. She began her college education at Cameron University where she received a degree in nursing in 1996, and at the same time was raising a son and daughter who attended Lawton Christian School. She worked at CCMH as a medical-surgical nurse until the year 2000. She then attended the University of Oklahoma, Norman campus, and received a degree in Classical Culture. She was accepted to medical school at OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City in 2003.

After medical school, Dr. Smith completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at the OUHSC Tulsa campus. She then entered a residency in Nuclear Medicine at OU Health Sciences Center until 2011. She served as an Associate Professor of Nuclear Medicine working at the OU Children’s Hospital Nuclear Medicine Dept. and the Stephenson Cancer Center PET/CT Dept. She soon realized that her joy and satisfaction came in working more closely with cancer patients, and she entered into residency once again at OUHSC in Radiation Oncology. After completing her residency in 2016 she joined the family of physicians at the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma in July, 2016. Dr. Smith and her husband JC are excited to be back living in Lawton.

Dr. Najera was born in South Texas, attended medical school at the Universidad de Monterrey (Monterrey, Mexico) graduating cum laude in 2006. His Internal Medicine Residency (2010) was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas and his Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship (June 30, 2013) is from the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando, Florida where he was appointed as the Chief Hematology/Oncology Fellow for this last year.

Aman Garsa, M.D.

Dr. Garsa attended medical school at Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Science in Rohtak, India. After medical school, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency (2010) at Penn State University/Milton S Hershey Medical Center Program in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She completed her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at Allegheny General Hospital-Western Pennsylvania Hospital Medical Education Consortium (WPH) Program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Garsa has worked as Senior House Surgeon, Pediatric Surgery at Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak, India. She continued her professional work as Junior House Surgeon, Urology at Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post-Graducate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak, India.
