CMT/CNA/LPN

DEFINITION:

The Clinical Medical Technician (CMT) is accountable for assisting in the delivery of patient care in the clinic during office hours. The CMT is accountable to the Physician/Provider, Office Supervisor, Department Director, patient and family for patient care functions.  Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

One to two years physicians’ office experience, as a MA, preferably primary care.

Licensed Practical Nurse

DEFINITION:

Implement and assist with nursing care for patients under supervision of Registered Nurse and/or the Physician.Provides care to a population including adults and geriatrics. Functions within the scope of practice as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

EDUCATION:

As required by the State Board of Nursing.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):

1. Current Basic Life Support.
2. As required by the State Board of Nursing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse program with current Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience, school attendance record and performance record may be considered.LPN will have the ability to room patients for multiple physicians and obtain vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assist the physician with obtaining necessary medical records.Nurse will assist the Provider with bone marrow biopsy procedures and Dermatology procedures within the nurse’s scope of practice.
